You know what? That's what happens to me too. Whenever I'm in Oahu I never see any hot celebs, but the moment I come back home to the BI it's like, "oh so and so is in Oahu right now". Like the time Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake were in Hawaii? The time she broke her nose from surfing? Well, I kinda liked both at the time so I thought it was really cool of them spending their vacation in Hawaii, but I was pissed with myself when I found out Kame guys were surfing there at the same time and he asked Cameron for her autograph. I was like, "WHY COULDN'T I BE THERE TOO~?!" It would have made me SO happy just to see them all at the same time.
