Title: What Can I Say?

Summary: I’m not sorry that it’s over, but for the way we let it end. I couldn’t find the words to say

Genre: Angst.
Shouts and shrieks, tears flowing, and a couple of you’re needy, you’re an asshole who can’t provide me time, and you don’t understand thrown in on the situation. After a couple of apologies and unapologies, they ended their relationship bitterly and with a heavy heart.
I’m not sorry that it’s over, but for the way we let it end. I couldn’t find the words to say
They’re irreparable - they’re wrong in so many levels that they just couldn’t reconcile their differences. They were attracted and they liked each other until one couldn’t keep up with the other and all of the sudden, it’s a verbal fight which is emotionally straining for both.
I picked up the phone a thousand times and tried to dial your number
But she couldn’t press that Call button nor can he send that well constructed formal greeting e-mail. Both guilty and hurt, but after all that they’ve gone through and the venomous words said to each other. Silence seems to be the best choice: until time heals the pain, until rain washes away those days.
After all, what can they say?

Matsumoto Jun never knew what came over him but after a successful take of Himitsu no Arashi-chan with her, he managed to ask for her number and then date her secretly. She’s weird - weirdly attractive, always bringing her habanero and tabasco sauces, letting him eat “Yoshitaka Yuriko’s specially concocted meal” even if he managed to avoid it on the taping of V.I.P. Room.
Everybody's telling me, I'm over my head, if they don't feel you loving me
Still he could not forget his knowing looks and a pathetic pick-up line uttered on her during the show, reminding everyone from the very start that he’s interested in how her mind works, in her. Disregarding the other members worry, he smiles at the thought of meeting her again.
The whole setup is twisted, but he likes it just the way it is.

"Marry each other already." she laughs.
"Maybe I should if one of us becomes a member of the opposite sex." He laughs with her but that statement earned him a smack. "But, a lady is already in my heart that I doubt that's possible."
She didn't ask further, just treasured that silence which they couldn't get had they stayed in Tokyo.

That particular tongue piqued her curiosity immediately when he approached her at the bar and showed it to her. She wants one, she decided and now she’s seeing her admired tongue in action - with his tongue as the paintbrush and her body as the canvas. Just the thought pushed her over the edge, letting him do the same when she realized he hasn’t pulled out before he’s done.
She may be a minor but she could get pregnant. She’s suddenly annoyed, angry and unpredictable. But then she saw his innocent child’s smile and no longer could she get away. A day turned into a month and they lived together, madly in love.

He’s younger than her and she still doesn’t know his last name. But then she’ll look at him happy and contented with calling each other their real names: the only names that have mattered to them.
