Being at a point in my life where I am fairly stable financially, I have decided that I want to try setting up a rotation of monthly donations to various places.  It won't be much money, but I'm hoping to make a regular thing of it so that it will add up.  One thing is, they have to have a local office because I want to give anonymously - cash or ( Read more... )

Human Rights Campaign or the It Gets Better Project are some larger ones that do good work, as well as the Point Foundation. I would also recommend Astraea as a large foundation, because almost none of the money donated goes to administrative costs -- it pretty much goes to doing good work ( ... )
