Japan Trip: Day 1 - Arrival & Miyagi Prefecture

Sep 30, 2016 16:19

As I mentioned in the previous entry, my flight was on Monday evening. Past 9pm, to be exact. The flight itself was smooth, but my only problem was that I couldn't sleep! And to think I'm usually a heavy-sleeper during flights >< So during the 7hrs-something of flight, I tried to make my eyes tired. I watched stuff available like eps of Criminal ( Read more... )

Ooo what a great first day! You didn't waste any time at all. Very smart to buy that commuters pass and portable WiFi. Oo and lovely pictures :3.

Ah I know what you mean about first landing on Japanese soil. This summer was my first visit to Japan too and my heart was in my throat for like, the first couple of hours after I arrived. I had to fight to stay calm though because most of my family doesn't quite know how big of a deal it is for me. But every time I got over something, then something else would make me feel super excited and emotional like holding Japanese yen for the first time XD, getting on the freeway, seeing vending machines, everything ^^;;;;;

Welp, can't wait to read more of your adventure :)

Oooohhh you were in Japan recently too?!? Waahhh.. will you write about it on your page? I'd love to read your adventures while in Japan! =3

I'd made an extensive research before my trip. After all, this had been planned for some 2 years? Just making itineraries had been super fun for me! xD

^ Wakaru! Wakaru! xD It's just all those small details that make our Japan-mania souls happy =3

Ha-ha yup! It was kind of random because my family in I were in the Philippines for vacation and for whatever reason, we ended up planning out a Japan week too ^^. I wish I wrote about it at the time while all the details were fresh, but yeah I'll definitely plan to write about it on my page :).

It's nice that you planned your trip so carefully! You're totally free to do what you want and take your time. I wish I could've planned my own trip too, but since we were a larger group with a few 50+ year old adults, then the safest thing to do was a tour package to keep things simple. Sigh, someday... ^^;

Aahh, so you went in a family group ne. Well yeah, in that case it's more efficient to book a package. My parents told me the same thing. They're kinda nagging that they want to visit Japan too after I returned. I told them Japan is super convenient. Language aside, everything is really easy. But they said for people like them, it is much easier to go with a tour group, so they won't have to think of anything ^^;

But I'm sure you'll get to plan your own trip! Is your fiance into Japan too, btw? If yes, maybe you can plan a honeymoon or something? I think that would be nice too =3

Awww, so you got a pic of your new family member when you got there! :3 Shedding tears right on the first few minutes in Japan ne xD

Hahah, so the well-known toilets in Japan are really as people say eh? xD

Aaah, one officer speaking in Indo! That's cool! :3

Rush hour! Way to welcome you to coming to Japan ne. Grand welcome xD

I wonder what will happen if you missed the stop and ended up getting to Hokkaido? xDDD

Eeeh so it gets humid there too?! I thought it would be at least less humid since, y'know, it's in a higher position on the globe than our countries xD

The place looks so nice! And so clean! I mean, considering a lot of people probably visit that place, it's really well maintained ne :)
