Remember, Thursday, 11:59 pm Eastern US time is the deadline for defaulting without penalty! This is not your story deadline, it's just the deadline by which you can default without any penalty imposed for future Yuletide participation.
If you default after this point, for any reason, a penalty may be imposed in order to qualify for future participation. Whether or not there is a penalty is at the discretion of the mods.
