Some fandoms need evidence to be approved. Comment on this post (or
at DW) if the fandom you’ve nominated:
- has too many stories to be eligible, but only because of crossposting between ff.net and AO3, OR because a tiny pool of authors has written most of it,

For Night Watch, we did not approve this fandom as it is not clear to us that Night Watch is a distinct sub-set of the Discworld fandom - it does consist of many books, but each expands the world and many draw on developing character arcs and references that are built up between books. We also are not sure that your method of writing Night Watch into the AO3 search indicates how many people are taking that book into account, as many fans treat Discworld as a single fandom and might not think to tag it that way.

Possible issue with the fandom: All the Mission: Impossible films are grouped under one category on AO3, which has 1000+ fics.
Why this fandom should be considered eligible: While they all share characters and continuity, I'm only really interested in the plot and characters of the latest film and I feel like they should be classed separately. When I filter through the AO3 bookmarklet there's only ~600 fics. The film was released in July of this year and there are only 10 pages on AO3 from then and now, which makes ~200 fics, at most, for this film specifically.
I don't know if this would even be a problem, I just wanted to make sure.

Possible issue with the fandom: Spinoff of Doctor Who, which is most definitely ineligible.
Why this fandom should be considered eligible: The points of overlap with the parent fandom are: it's set at Coal Hill Academy (Coal Hill School is a significant location in DW, although the Academy is a different building in a different location), the Twelfth Doctor makes a brief appearance in the first episode, a Weeping Angel makes a brief appearance in the last episode. There are also a couple Easter egg references to DW characters (there's the Barbara Wright Building, things like that, not appearances from existing characters ( ... )

Possible issue with the fandom: Hannibal Lecter appears in it and is one of the characters I want to nominate.
Why this fandom should be considered eligible: It's not really connected to Silence of the Lambs/Red Dragon/Manhunter/Hannibal (TV) etc., some of which would be eligible (Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal the film, and Red Dragon are lumped together under the tag "Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins Movies)", which has only 247 fics even before you filter them, while Manhunter, where the role of Hannibal was played by Brian Cox, has only eight), and some of which would not (by contrast, "Hannibal Lecter - All Media Types" has 8,040 after the appropriate filters have been applied). If it fits into any existing canon, it's probably Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins Movies), since the whole "whoa, is that Hannibal?" reaction is predicated on Evil Anthony Hopkins, but that's a pretty big "if," and what I actually think is that this is a distinct and separate portrayal of Hannibal that isn't part of ( ... )

Possible issue with the fandom: Perrie Edwards appears in over 3000 works on AO3.
Why this fandom should be considered eligible: The band members of Little Mix often appear in One Direction fic because Perrie used to date Zayn in One Direction. In my experience reading both LM and 1D fic Perrie usually only appears in the latter as the off-screen or call-in girl friend to support a story about the boys. The fandom Little Mix has 644 works (unfiltered). Perrie has 3071 works total - but if you exclude works tagged with the One Direction fandom she only has 145 works on AO3.
Fandom: Colorado Avalanche RPF
Possible issue with the fandom: Hockey RPF is too big.
Why this fandom should be considered eligible: In Hockey RPF users rarely tag for individual teams, however the characters I wish to nominate are all in the eligible range. (Unfiltered numbers) Nathan MacKinnon 295 works; Tyson Barrie 130 works; Gabriel Landeskog 240 works; Erik Johnson 50 works.

Colorado Avalanche RPF complies with our rules - no evidence post needed, but thank you for being thorough.

Also I totally understand about Perrie - but I thought it was worth it to ask. (And it was!) :)
