apologies; I misunderstood what it meant - I wasn't sure if it meant "an invite to take part in the annual event" or "an invite to join AO3".

...Would it be too late to send such an email now? I've been in the queue since mid-October, and it's consistently said I'd be in by November 16th - but now it says I'll have to wait till the 22nd. I realize sign-ups close sometime tonight, but I'd still really like to be a part of this if at all possible.
