YAY Yuletide! It took me 5 tries (not including getting the "system overloaded" screen several times), but it finally worked.

Notes:
1. I hit "add another request" after my 4th request and got a blank for filling out a 5th request. I hit the Remove button below it, and it sent me to an error screen. When I hit the back button, the 5th blank was gone, but my 4th request had been deleted, too.

2. The form will not submit with blank offers present. I originally offered 8 fandoms. Then I deleted #6 and #7 of those, but I did NOT use the Remove button, for fear it would blank the whole screen on me. Turns out, you HAVE to use the remove button directly below each individual offer to delete that offer. Otherwise, you get an error when you hit Submit and won't accept your completed signup.

Also, copy and pasting your Optional Details into a separate window -- just in case your browser crashes or AO3 eats the submission -- is a GOOD idea.

(I'm using Firefox, btw. I haven't tried this via other browsers.)

Worked for me, but slowly, in Chrome. (In case anyone was wondering about that browser - I hadn't seen it mentioned.) YAY, Yuletide!

I've never participated before. I would like to.

Problem: I'm not a member of Archive of Our Own and it says you need an invite to join?

Does this disqualify me? Sorry if this a completely ridiculous question.

Since the invitation queue is a bit long right now, elynross has said that anyone needing an invite should email her directly at yuletide@yuletidetreasure.org to request one - she has plenty to give out.

And now I know why it's taking me a full minute to minute and a half to load fic on the AO3. :)
