It's always good to have an excuse to look through all the fandoms...

Thank you so much for the spreadsheet, you even got my last-minute noms on it.

I'm glad to hear that there are many more nominations though. I get nervous every year that I won't find enough canons I'm sure that I can write for. (Meaning not only that I know them, but would have time and ability to review them, and they're not so awesome I wouldn't dare write fic for them, etc.)

Glad it was useful!

It seems like a lot of the coordinating nominations seems to lean towards more media-based fandoms and new stuff - not that books aren't in there as well, but more of the actual coordination involved TV/movie stuff.

Probably due to number of characters. Books, even a series, tend to have much fewer important characters to deal with. A protagonist, a love interest, a friend, an antagonist ... there's your four slots all decided!
But tv shows have massive casts, especially ensemble pieces. For example, a sentai show has five-six main characters on the team as a rule, that's not even counting love interests, supporting characters, mentors, and major villains. So some coordination is necessary for that. Same goes for musicals, ensemble-based movies, and the like.
