As promised, I've been through the Other Media section, separating everything into sections and adding links to places online where you can stream, read, download or buy the content. My notes about format and stuff are in italics.

(I have selfish reasons for wanting that section organised because I'm currently in the market for a new web-based puzzle adventure game and I'm hoping I can find one on the list and play it through before signups close.)

I'm not really using these category post, so I technically don't have a dog in this fight. But... I don't think it makes much sense to order video games by console. Most recent games are released on multiple systems, sometimes even cross-gen. And even in the case of older games or ones that weren't, it wouldn't tell you anything about them. I think it'd be a better idea to order them by genre -- RPGs, fighting games, etc. Just a thought!

Ordering by gameplay would definitely make it easier for people to find stuff that appeals to their interests, but ordering by console would make it easier for people to find stuff that will be immediately available to them.

I've mentioned upthread that I have a personal agenda here. Gameplay-order would let me know that Monkey Island, Professor Layton and Submachine are all the type of puzzle adventure games that I like. Console-order would let me know that Submachine would be easiest to pick up because it's free and browser based, compared to the others which require downloads or cartridges.

Maybe ordered by gameplay with a list of available consoles in brackets for each? That would be the best of both worlds, but more work for whoever takes it on!

Wow, I love you! I've loved the dragon hoards since I first saw them and had no idea/thought they'd be nominated. I am soooo signing up for these.

I don't know about the other nominators, but I was referring to the webseries/books not the dolls specifically. At least two of the nominated characters aren't even announced as dolls yet but are in the books/webseries. I've never seen fic or art that was doll specifically other than photoshoots of the dolls. Almost everything is webseries or books.
