FAQ Important Points About Signing Up
- The Set List has now been created. Please specify what your preference is for any umbrella fandoms that have many sub-categories. This will help your gift-giver know what to draw for you.
Example 1:
Star Trek (The Next Generation and Deep Space 9)
Example 2:
Marvel Comics (Iron Man movie, Runaways, Generation-X, Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon)
Example 3:
Music RPF (The Beatles, U2) - For ALL fandoms, please spell out the fandom name rather than using acronyms! THIS INCLUDES BAND NAMES.
- Additionally, remember that the more information you can give in your "special requests" section, the better. This is where you would designate specific characters, ships, etc. More info helps us make more appropriate assignments.
- Remember that Yuletart is about the joy of creating art together, not about who is "best" or "most perfect." You should not only be able to put forth your very best effort, but be able to appreciate the effort of others regardless of their level of skill. We know that "effort" is a very subjective concept, so for our purposes we're defining it as an art or craft that has gone through at least one rough draft, gotten objective advice from a third party, and then edited into a final, more polished work. (Note: Mom and Dad probably aren't going to be objective about your art. If you can't find an objective beta, try artbeta. The artists there are patient, generous and willing to work with all skill levels. You can even ask for one-on-one help via email.)
- If you have questions or need clarification, please ask them HERE.
