WE GOT A BUNCH OF STRAWBERRIES AND CLEANED IT AND TOOK OFF THE LEAVES AND SLICED THEM INTO HALVES. AND THEN WE WEIGHED THE STRAWBERRIES AND GOT THAT AMOUNT IN SUGAR. AND THEN WE MIXED THE STRAWBERRIES WITH THE SUGAR AND LEFT IT ALONE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR. AND THEN IT'S GOING TO OSMOSE OR SOMETHING AND AFTERWARD, WE PUT IT ON LOW FIRE UNTIL IT BOILED. WHEN IT BOILS IT STARTS GETTING ALL WATERY BUT THEN IT STARTS GETTING THICK.
FOR NORMAL JAM, YOU KEEP ON BOILING IT UNTIL IT THICKENS BUT FOR THE PURPOSES OF PARFAIT WE STOPPED AS SOON AS IT WAS A SYRUPY CONSISTENCY AND PUT IT ON TOP OF VANILLA ICECREAM!!
