Hi all! I have been meaning to update as well as start the drabbles post, but on the evening of Crimmas Day, Terry and I came home to Nim having eaten a box of chocolates. She's fine! But it's been a hectic couple of days. I plan on posting the pictures from the holidays as well as starting to fill the prompts on Thursday or so. Sorry

That's good she's okay! I would have had a heart attack if my dog had done that.

The funny thing is, I found out by accident, and if I hadn't, she'd probably be in a lot more trouble than she ended up being in - in fact, she may have even died. I'm GLAD I found out when I did, even if I did start to bawl like a baby when I did, lol.

But yeah, I've heard too many horror stories involving dogs and boxes of chocolates that I'd have probably eventually cried too (but first the heart attack!). But your dogs safe now and that's the important thing in the end. (And it was really for the best you found out and got her help after all.)

My dog didn't have the best christmas but for slightly different reasons- a fence to the neighbours was rotted and she got out, and after we let her back in the front door she seemed really scared of something. Given the fact our neighbour is far from a dog fan (and gets sick of other dogs getting into his garden and has aimed shoes and things at dogs and cats- our dog doesn't generally get out though) we wondered if he'd hit her or something, poor girl. (Though we couldn't say for sure- for all we know she heard gun shots). She perked up in the evening though at least and she's fine now.
