Ahhh! Okamiden! I think my copy is bugged ( right after you get the cut spell, and they ask you to cut the lanterns? Yeah, cant seem to do it, no idea what the issue is) but that game is so incredibly cute!

Funny you mention this. I had issues, too. It should work if you cut only horizontally. If it doesn't, then yeah, your copy is bugged.
