It's too bad that One Piece airs on Toonami. I guess that's the reason for them editing out the cigars/cigarettes. Smoker looked stupid with just smoke coming out of his mouth. XD That, and they changed his name to "Chaser."
His article on Wikipedia says Funimation is going to edit out the smoke, and not the cigars (still like WTF though), but that the DVDs will have both the smoke and his cigars in them. Supposedly.
