Remember:
You can't please everyone in life.
You're out there living it, the haters are only sitting on their butts wishing they could.
If you have no regrets for actually working as a voice actress in Japan, go all the way.
Looking at that group photo makes me nervous in terms of if I ever become part of a group something. Think how easy it'd be to track me down and flame me online? xD
(But before that, I actually must be able to read and understand Japanese...) ;_;
Lastly, the one piece of advice I heard and will keep close to protect my heart from slander:
"Build mighty walls with the bricks your enemies throw at you".
In other words, let them say what they wanna say and become stronger for it ;)
But I'm glad you got to experience some of the glitz and glamour, not many american born anime fans can EVER say they've done this, you're a unique and special one, give yourself props and keep going ^^
