I start teaching my very own karate class tonight. i'm as nervous as hell but i'm excited as well. I just hope that i get people to show up. I've had flyers up all over town for about a month now but no one has called me at all. i've had a few people that i know say that they were bringing their kids (since it's a children's class) but no one has

What ages are included in the kids class? Mom called me a few weeks ago and said that her former boss at control, his son was interested in taking classes. Mom was going to have them call me to talk about what it was like and what not and I told her to also have them call Kyoto but I don't know if they have or not yet cause I haven't heard anything more about it.

Good Luck with your class though!! If I knew any little kids I would try and recruit them for you.

my class is Tues/thurs. 6-7pm. And I take ages 5-11.
Traditional karate is now Tues.7-9pm/Sat. 10:30-12 and is ages 12+
Ju Jitsu is now Thurs. 7-9pm/Sat 9-10:30am

OKay, I think I might stop by next week over Spring Break. Atleast on Tuesday and Saturday. I probably will on Thursday as well.

I'm not too nervous about teaching. I've taught my teacher's younger ranks for years. I know what I'm doing with that. It's just I've not taught children this young and I don't know if anyone is going to actually show up!
