I have good news and bad news! The bad news is, yet another roll of film developed blank and transparent. The good news is, I accidentally exposed a section of it, so now I know what I did wrong-- I'm trying a little too hard not to overexpose it when I take my pictures ( Read more... )

If you exposed a section of it, depending on how long you had it out, it should have just screwed up the part that was exposed, not the whole thing.

Did you check the temperature of the developer and water when you put the roll in? That's what happened when one of my rolls came out blank. It was too cold and didn't want to come out. Another time was because I thought I was shooting the whole time and the camera never took one shot, so I tried to develop pictures that weren't there -__-

Exactly. The part I exposed was black, the rest was transparent.

...so wait, you had both of those problems on one roll? Dude, I'd check that camera. Something weird is going on.

No, listen: I had the shutter speed way too fast, so when I took pictures it didn't expose the film long enough for the pictures to take. Thus, most of the film was underexposed. Then, I accidentally popped open the camera towards the end of the roll of film, so that part got overexposed.

I'm getting the hang of this, I swear.
