Have an eight years old Kiryu wandering around on the beach. He is really wondering how taking one sharp left turn while running away from some… rather unsavory… characters in the Satellite… could end with him ending up somewhere that wasn't the Satellite at all.]

... No you can't see anything... he's not visible right now, but his voice is above your head around a normal height of an adult.

[Kiryu is looking around tensely; grown up voices were usually not that good of a sign (but rather a promise of pain and an empty stomach) and even worse when you couldn't see them. And they smelled fear. He wished he had some kind of weapon. A knife. Or a stone. But all around him was sand (he guessed at least; it wasn't like he had ever been to a beach before.)]

[Snarl.] Who's there?

"Just I... Oh... I apologize..." Annnnnnnnnnd now he's visible in his usual High Priest robes. "I forgot that I had made myself invisible, but anyways. You are new I take it?"

[Kiryu jumps; really where the hell did that guy come from!? And what was this about being invisible and Kiryu being new and just what was going on here??? He shifts back a bit; not in fear! but because he's wary.]

New to what?

[This Kiryu is absolutely thrilled to be here...he's been cursing all of existence for dragging him out of his vacation early and moping about for a couple days avoiding everyone.

But he can't really ignore a tiny version of himself. That's more than a little shocking and unnerving to him at the moment.]

[Oh great, even more grown ups. And still nothing but sand around him. But this one looks kind of… strangely… familiar? He kind of reminds Kiryu of the faint memories of his family from before Zero Reverse.]

You're... [Kiryu laughs and briefly covers his eyes, but the kid is still there when he looks again. Usually his hallucinations disappear when he looks away. Not always though; Demak had stuck around.

He flops down on the ground and gives little Kiryu a lopsided grin.]

My name's Kyosuke. You're new here, right?

[Well, the other had set down, which was good for Kiryu. He guessed. Though the name 'Kyosuke' throws him off a bit. There's a reason why he doesn't let anyone call him by it… though he reminds himself, he supposed there were other people with that name. He considers for a moment before shrugging, though he still kept his distance.]

I guess. Name's Kiryu.

[Might as well find out more about the place.]

[He may be dead, and he may be more inclined to want to gut most versions of Kiryu that he comes across than anything, but Crow is still Crow. And a kid is still a kid. Therefore he's smiling about as reassuringly as he can as he approaches carefully.]

[Kiryu may be a kid, but he is still Kiryu and is growing up on his own in the Satellite, which means that he is really careful about who and how much he trusts. That Crow doesn't look exactly trustworthy, won't help that either. But Kiryu can't take a step back, not yet - adults smell fear! - so he'll just cross his arms and narrow his eyes and try really, really hard not to look all too nervous (and probably fail a bit at it).]

Sure. I'm totally fine. Not bothering anyone or anythin'.

[Crow's used to having to earn trust. He does have the face of a repeat felon after all. The whole zombie cultist thing probably only makes it worse. But he's still trying to be reassuring.]

Didn't say you were being a bother. Y'just look like you're surprised to be here is all. You're probably new, huh?

[The markers don't bother him that much; Security is stupid and tends to tag everyone they can get their hands on. Not to mention that Kiryu figures that the really bad guys only get caught once if at all. The zombie cultist thing makes him far more nervous, but not as much as it could - Kiryu has no clue what a Dark Signer is; for all he knows this could be the after effect of some kind of drug… or something. Grown ups were weird like that. He shrugs slightly at Crow's statement, never taking his eyes off the other.]

Arrived sometimes ago. [Which could be anything between a minute and a week.] Why's everyone asking?

[Well Kiryu has noticed him, but won't bother Yusei for now. He is too busy gaping at the waterbending from reasonable distance.]
