(no subject)
So today was pretty nice. Made my coffee today! Whee. I drank it while watching Finding Nemo, but I was distracted so by the time I drank the bulk of it, it was pretty cold.
Around 5, my brother and I left the house. First we went to Staples because my brother wanted to get a mouse for my other's brother's birthday (which is today). But it wasn't there, so we went to Circuit City. They didn't have the mouse either, so we looked in the games and movies. Greg got this game called Mechassault, and I got the DVD of this movie called Real Genius (it has Val Kilmer in it and a bunch of other random people). It's an 80s geek movie, but it's like, my brother's favorite. If it's on TV, he'll watch it like, everyday.
So then he dropped me off at UMBC at the top of the hill behind Fine Arts building. It took me second to figure out where I really was and how I was going to get to Erickson, but I made it. And then I had to find Joan, but she found me. She had to go find her mom and brothers, so Carrie tried to get into the elevator to bring me up but it didn't work. After about 5 or 10 minutes, it finally worked, so Carrie and I went up to see our room without Joan. And we met this guy in the elevator who was tall and kinda cute. We started talking about where the east wing of Erickson is, and he told us. But HAHAH he lives on our floor! West though, I think.
Then we moved all of Joan's stuff. It took like, 3 trips with 8 people total to move it all. Seriously. We (Joan, Carrie, Nikki, and me) hung out in the room for a little, while Joan and I discussed where we wanted everything. And I got Carrie and Nikki's polaroid picture for our Polaroid Wall. And Joan also took one of me.
Yeah...so then we left to go eat. It was up between the Double T, Panera, or Applebees, and then Nikki said "CARRABAS!!" and I was like "YEAH LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S GO!!!!" But Joan, always messing up our Frisbee plans, said no because she wasn't dressed for it. Or something. So we went to Applebees.
And HAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. As we were finishing up, SID and his friend that Joan likes/d came and sat at the table on the other side of this glass wall. I laughed so hard. But I'm pretty sure they couldn't hear us, because we were talking about them a lot.
So then, Joan said we had to drop me off first, because it would take too long to go back to UMBC and for her to drive me home. So...now I'm here.
But sometime this week, we're helping Aya decorate her hall. The theme is Mario Bros. And while moving, Carrie and I said we should color them weird color schemes, and then we decided we'd put Princess Peach or other feminine characters for the boys and Mario Bros (and other masculine characters) for the girls.
Woooooooooooo today was much nice. I guess I should start packing soon.
