I have to laugh really big at the 6/10 you got on that specific assignment. Not at you but at Mark. Boris and I both got 6/10. For serious, and we spoke to mark about it and he was just being SUCH AN ASS. For whatever reason he said to Boris that you're not supposed to animated lip syncs with any of the frames on 1s, when YES INFACT YOU CAN AND ARE ENCOURAGED to if you feel it's necessary says DQ.
I cannot explain the rage I feel for that man. I pity his attitude towards life. Seriously, i didn't want to animate when he was.."TEACHING" us. And now it's what I want to do 8) So don't take mark personally, he really shouldn't be telling other people what to do. He really is a "teacher by mistake"..lololol. Yah know I'm not funny.
Other than that, sorry it's been kinda lousy, hope it picks up sooooon! <3
Jeeeeeeez. Well, this year he made put in the rubric that you had to animate on twos for the lip sync. His reasoning was that if you were to animate a head around that mouth afterward, you couldn't do it 'cause the timing would be fux'd. But yeah, who was going to animate a head around that? Not me, noooo.
Well, I did it all on 2s like he asked, and (considering that I had misheard the track) it was all animated pretty well/synched nicely enough. I was just surprised that I lost so many marks for that, seeing as my animation overall wasn't so bad =_=;
Uuuugh. I'm just afraid for this monday when it'll be critiqued in class. I don't want to hear him LOL at me in front of the class for getting the dialogue wrong. So not looking forward to that >_But overall I haven't had too many problems with him as a teacher. He's not the most inspiring of instructors, but he is pretty good about being there if we need him for anything (being the Second Year advisor and all that) ~ *shrug* ~ Animation has just never been my
