I wasn't a huge fan of C&G at first but I'm liking it the more I watch it, the song as well :D The solo shots are beautiful and the dance is cool.
My one complaint though is Maru's vest. It looks like a sweater vest that's been painted D:

And I agree the Expose PV is lacking (it was a little too simple and the wooden bird looked so out of place) but I really like the song though.

Totally from a shipping perspective, the cameo made it seem almost like Maru broke up with Ueda in the context of the song. When I read this translation of the lyrics it made it seem even more that way since Ueda appears right after the "But even then, I'll think of you" line.
But there probably is no meaning really and that was just deemed the best spot to insert the cameo. Since it's JE, it works in a fan service like way as well ;D

Agreed the beatboxing intro was really cool! I'm really glad he added that bit in *__*
