Hmm, I haven't actually written much Mal. Wait, he was there in a supporting role a bit in "The First Supper"...

a. Well, loving Firefly inevitably leads to writing Mal. I fell in love with just about the entire cast pretty quick.

b. His incredible devotion to the people he has taken on as family whether he knows it or not.

c. My lord, he can be stubborn about doing the right thing even when he's figured it out.

d. He's pretty easy to write. Lots of practice with Han Solo. :p

e. There's a conversation in the post-BDM babyfic that Tessie and I are working on where he has a totally crossed wires conversation with Zoe about things sometime happening that they weren't planning on.

f. He has a fairly substantial role in said fic. Does he WANT to be in this situation? Not particularly. :p

Hmm... let's see here... to be extremely predictable or not?

Neville Longbottom. :P

a. He was just this poor sweet boy that I wanted to give a big old hug. :p

b. He's such a sweet boy and has the courage of being scared and doing it anyway.

c. Probably that whole lack of confidence thing.

d. He's really super easy to write. He's one of those characters where I can tell what's going on.

e. At some point I'll answer this question with something I've actually posted, I swear. :p There's a scene in my incomplete Neville/Luna fic where he sits down with her at breakfast and actually listens to what she's saying, and then gets all flustered when she says "I like talking to you, it's almost like you're really listening." :p

f. Dammit, now that I've mentioned it, FINISH THAT FIC MENTIONED ABOVE. :p

a. OH, about when she quoted Mary Poppins. :p

b. Being so loving and supportive.

c. Hmm... a tendency to get overinvolved I guess.

d. To use the inevitable pun, Death is dead easy to write. :p

e. Oddly enough, despite being utter crackfic, "She Likes Umbrellas". :p

f. Well, the big plan right now is to actually type up the fic with her and Destiny I finished the other day.

So, I don't really know what all you write because I'm lame and haven't read any of it; point me the way!, but let's take a wild guess and say Duo Maxwell. Lemme know if you've never written him and I'll pick another. :P

Actually, I've never written Duo outside of a brief mention in a House Cup fic. :p I've written fic for Star Wars, Sandman, Pretear, Firefly, Discworld (only Death and Susan though) and Harry Potter. :p

I don't suppose you've ever written Thrawn? I don't think I'd have the temerity, myself. :P Ummmm... fine. Luke Skywalker. You have to have written Luke.

I've written Luke. And not just for an essay for Hero's Quest! :P

a. I suppose I wound up writing about him by pure necessity. I mean I love Star Wars and he's kinda part of the deal. :p

b. Luke really does want to make the galaxy better.

c. He's MOPEY!

d. I actually find Luke kinda tricky to write. Well, once he's Mister Jedi Master, that is. He gets harder to get into.

e. My Luke voice has always been pretty shakey, so I can't name something offhand.

f. Probably not, he's not a strong voice in my head. :p

*grins* How about...Wes Janson?

a. EWOKS. He did things with EWOKS, need I say more?

b. He has an absolutely terrific outlook on life.

c. Having two sentences of backstory? Actually, I can't imagine his flirtatious ways are much appreciated. :p

d. Wes Janson lives in my brain. End of story. :p

e. "Laughter and Tears" where he's musing about the spirit of Ewoks, and then adds that they drive Wedge crazy.

f. I'd like to go back and finish my childhood fic for him. And write some Wes/Shalla.
