The murder mystery last night was RIDICULOUSLY fun. :p It was an interesting assortment of guests at the dinner. We had Nico as a goddess from Saiyuki. Part of her schtick was that she could only speak through her aide, Cherie, because her voice would destroy all her minds. Those of you who know NIco know how HILARIOUS it is that she had to keep

So wait, it was like a multi-fandom murder mystery? That's how it was able to have both River and Capn Sparrow?

Yep, multi fandom. We told the people organizing the event what costumes we currently had, and they came up with the story based around this. :p

Oh, of course -- that's what your costume was for! What a great event. You must have a neat circle of friends to be able to do an event like that. How great!

Well, it was for Halloween, but that meant it was conveniently available for this. :p

The anime club is a bunch of really awesome people. We do things like this and being crazy enough to decide to start a convention. :p

What exactly does one do at a murder mystery party? I am intrigued.

Oh, it's SO fun. Everyone is given their character and some information about what they saw the night of the murder and what they did. THere's a police report explaining more about the murder. You discuss in character and try to figure out whodunnit.
