This poem came out of the March 1, 2022 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by a prompt from Dreamwidth user Nsfwords. It also fills the "Clay" square in my 3-1-22 card for the National Crafting Month Bingo fest. This poem has been sponsored by a pool with Dreamwidth user Fuzzyred. I don't know how it could be made to pay, and I'm not as good at crowdfunding as you are, but it would be fun to make that happen. Own Voices, of course. And wholesome, so as not to violate local cultural rules.

(Same-sex couples? Y not, if the emphasis was on respect, friendship, and loyalty, nothing explicitly physical.)

Do you know a good developmental editor? I'm a good copy editor and rewriter, but seem to have some sort of mental block about expanding and condensing someone else's story...
