Ouroboros Insects

The raspberry patch
is swarming with bugs.

There are ladybugs
and assassin bugs,
tiger beetles and
one praying mantis
surveying her domain.

There are ants and
caterpillars creeping
over green leaves
and black fruit.

Dragonflies swoop
lazily overhead.
