From your prompt about abandoned houses, I got the free-verse poem "Clapboard Apparitions." It's a quiet, evocative exploration of forgotten structures laid against the backdrop of nature.
"Friendly Whispers" -- 17 lines, $10 (Torn World)
I decided to explore the idea of friendly ghosts in Torn World. "Friendly Whispers" is written in free verse, musing on the nature of helpful vs. harmful ghosts and the challenge of telling the difference. As with many Torn World poems, it has a mixed message and no hard answers.
"Ghost in the Screen" -- 10 lines, $5
I liked the idea of ghost images burned into a screen, which became "Ghost in the Screen," a whimsical little poem about screen burn-in. It's written in rhymed couplets.

From the prompt about entertaining trick-or-treaters, I got "Hollow Eve." It takes place very early in the Monster House series, after the eviction, and explores some challenges of meshing the paranormal with the ordinary.

It introduces the lurking shadow who, while not a ghost per se, shares many of the same qualities and may be fairly considered a type of spook. The poem also deals with some subtle aspects of communal interaction and getting along with housemates, not all of whom are necessarily vocal.

I put this together with ravan's prompt about a paladin's ghost ... and I found a follower of Gorrein who is loyal to his god, come hell or high water. Shahana and Ari want to clear the ghosts away from a battlefield, but not all of them are ready to go. Fortunately they have some unexpected help.

I combined this with clare_dragonfly's prompt about a menopausal women causing poltergeist activity. Bill and Sue know that the house is haunted ... but only when Grandma is around. "Visitations" is written in free verse.
