Earlier aldersprig offered an image prompt. "Dealing With Dragons" is a poem about shapeshifting and inner nature, and how hidden truths are revealed.
"Eggs Under Moon" -- 28 lines, $15
Another iteration of the dragon prompt from xjenavivex yielded the poem "Eggs Under Moon," about finding a nest on the beach.

From the winged foods I got "High Hunger," a free-verse poem that explains why humans like to eat such things.

I combined the lunar moth with the liminal time to get "Lunar Moths," a poem which compares the pupating moth to the human species preparing to colonize the Moon. This poem is written in unrhymed tercets.

The photo of the owl and the mouse led to "Mouseflight," a free-verse poem that contrasts positive and negative images of death.

"Time Flies" is a poem about how the winged creatures of Earth and the humans fought their way to an alliance, defying gods and time to achieve not just flight, but starflight. It is written in rhymed couplets.
