When Life Gets Weird, The Weird Turn Pro...

Jan 05, 2011 13:23

Life... has just taken a turn for the weird.  More weird, I mean.  Aside from some personal drama that I don't wish to go into and some extremely fun writing in Three Thieves that people'll eventually see (mmmmm, heist!  holy shit, heist note! brain going owieee), work has done something odd.

Um, what? No, really. What?? )

work, furpersons

Lord Frodi is an accountant and I'm sure he'd has some answers for you in the tax department. Their company has done our taxes for the last few years and they do a great job.

Wow, ferrets are weird. Lol.

Excellent idea! Thanks! I'd forgotten that that's his Day Job.

Ugh, taxes suck. No matter what. Good luck getting that all untangled!

What a silly little furball. But cute. And rather enterprising. Heh.

Many thanks! Been doing my taxes myself with a few rare exceptions since I was in my late teens, so I'll see how far I can take 'em first. And yeah, enterprising and incredibly sneaky.

*sporfle* man, I'm glad you found them before they started going Off. (Particularly the clementines, which don't last near as long as apples or potatoes do.)

Benefits of cat ownership: lack of interest in hoarding citrus fruit! Which is not to say a lack of interest in hoarding per se. Brings me to downsides of cat ownership: what I find stuffed behind/beneath/inside the sofa frame is usually a dead mammal instead. Mice get smelly pretty fast, too...

Eeergh; been there, done that. One of the advantages of ferret-cohabitation is that their scent scares the bejeezuz out of rodents, so there's probably not a mouse for a good distance around here. But I clearly recall the time my mom decided to set traps ALL over our house (the neighbors had moved out and their hungry rodent population had invaded our home when the food ran out), and I got nominated as Dead Rodent Removal Squad. **shudders** They're not pretty freshly dead, but they're WAY easier to deal with than, oh, about three days after the fact.

*snickers* what a sneaky, funny little fur ball! My mom's cat steals leather items and stores them under the side table. Plus side, you can find them easily. Downside, new shoes with fang holes and not realizing she snitched my wallet until After I got home.
