I heard about this earlier. This is why my mother, the die-hard Republican, is voting for Obama: she can't stand Palin and doesn't want the woman anywhere near the Oval Office. I don't know how Palin sleeps with herself at night either. How horrid for any victims who had to suffer under that despicable law.
THIS is the main reason why I loathe Sarah Palin. I didn't like the way she acts like she's so superior because OMG she can see Russia. Hey, idiot? That doesn't automatically give you amazing diplomatic powers. And it makes you look like the ignorant, backwater, backwards piece of trash you are on international television.
What sort of womanhuman being would ever consider it okay to charge the victim of such a horrible crime to even have a chance to have their assailants caught? And don't even think about Plan B or abortion if a woman gets knocked up from her rape -- the gift that keeps on giving!
If McCain gets put in the White House, I'm terrified that women's protective rights will go back to coathangers and back-alley abortionists, 'cause they'll definitely get rid of the pill and IUCs and probably condoms too.
