....okay, had the most WEIRD-ass dream last night... um, here's what I wrote about a half-hour after I woke up:

Okay, wanted to get this down before I forgot it entirely, because I know that dreams are like that; what I remember in a few hours won’t be what I recall right now, or what I knew an hour ago.

It was your dream and you knew it. Why not have fun with it or use it to go exploring your subconscious or something like that or barring that fergitaboutit and enjoy your trip.

When I realize that I'm dreaming I spend the rest of the dream flying.

It was in SoHo that Em and I saw Whoopie Goldberg buying party supplies in a crowded little card/drugstore sort of shop. Heh, and I was totally uninterested in looking, despite the fact some people were getting their picture taken with her. Em had to tell me after we left who it was. ::rolls eyes:: Even had I known, I probably wouldn't have paid much more attention.

Now if it was oh, say, George Lucas...

So far I've ended up sitting next to tv producers of some sort down in Noho, and that's it (they were rather loud; when people talk on and on about 'setting up next fall's lineup, and such-and-such has this idea', it's fairly obvious what they're nattering on about. Nice suits, though; very snazzy. Would much prefer Whoopie Goldberg, though.

I did see two chalk-outlines of bodies on the sidewalk yesterday, though, with little chalked X's and numbers scattered all around them... that was a bit odd. Right in front of a grade-school, too. **shivers**
