Congrats to Sarah! And you, Nanty Ysabet. Alexander... that's a very cool first name, that is. :D

^__^ **saintly smile** Well, you usually need two people to do it properly, and two spools of thread (although one person can do it as well.) It needs to be done when it's light outside, because the very first thing that you do is remove the lightbulbs from the room's illumination. Then you start with the farthest corner from the door, tie the thread to something sturdy there, and then start running it in ALL directions, looping it and spiderwebbing it over absolutely everything. Two people working together and being *very* careful can do a room in about 5 minutes; at the end, when you're either out of thread or there's no more room, you very carefully creep out at floor level, turn off the lights and close the door.

And then the room's owner comes home from wherever they were, and opens the door and turns on the light. The light doesn't come on, so they usually walk into the room muttering the equivalent of WTF?... and hit all those threads. The entire room comes to life-- things fall over, papers leap into the air, clothing ( ... )

Congrats to your friend, but I had to comment:

I love how the mom's "tired" but the dad's the "exhausted" one. XD

Well, but he's a guy. Guys are delicate that way. We have to make allowances for their fragility, don't we? ^______^ And truthfully, I think he might've been a bit rattled by watching his wife hurt-- she had a long, hard time of it. Sure produced nice results, though; Alex is a sweetheart. Smells GOOD, too (at least at present.)
