Aaaaand here's the last bit.  **wipes forehead and looks nervously around**

‘Dancing Days are here again

As the Summer evenings glow-“

“Duke, why do you always listen to such old shit?”

“Shut up, Wheeler, and deal with it.  Driver gets to pick the station, you know that.”

‘I said it’s alright, you know it’s alright,

I guess it’s all in my heart;

**polishes halo** So I take it you liked it? Or did I turn the three guys into oversexed fiends? Was trying to go with the hormonal level of most early-twenties male friends I've had, who (given the chance) would've eventually resorted to Drastic Measures if frustrated twice in one day.

I think you got the guys correctly. As I recall the age (stares at eldest son) high hormones and playing around is common. To say nothing about talking and talking and talking.

They blinked in the beam of his flashlight like raccoons caught knocking over trashcans.

Omigod. Ohhhh, wow. *giggledeath!* I couldn't help myself, I started reading this at work. Eventually had to put it down of course, XD but got right back into it soon as I got home.

This is awesome, you are awesome, and you deserve a much longer comment for all of this hard work. Serenity has me very curious for a variety of reasons, specifically because you're working so hard to preserve her mystery-person's identify, right down to their gender. *cocks an eyebrow, reverts to Clever Sicilian:* Because you specifically narrate that person as non-gender specific, that indicates that you're trying to hide something, and why would you want to hide the gender of Serenity's boytoy--unless he is actually a she? And so clearly I cannot choose the wine in front of you! it must be a girl! But. What if you, having read the original story, saw the potential connections between females and knew that anyone who'd read IR might assume that Serenity's boytoy ( ... )

^___^ Glad you liked it! **shifts into Wiley Welshwoman** And ah, you have UNMASKED my FIENDISH PLOT!!! However, there are plots within plots, hidden deep behind the hormonal distractions of Serenity's brother and his two companions. Assumptions are dangerous things; they lead to confusions over just which goblet is poisoned-- err, I mean, just which woman is involved. And IF it's a woman; that's the question, isn't? **smirks a Welsh smirk** Clues can be red herrings...

The food preferences and the little habits about just how they live around each other and the reflections on stubble; and Joey's reflections on where he fits in in this triad and the talk about Tristan's skin (ohhh yes) and Serenity's covert conversations and the telling-without-telling in the sex scene and. Just. Eeeee. Wow. This is just -incredible-. ^___^ Does the original proud! :D

I have like half a dozen icons I wanna use for this XD but I pick this one in hopes it will encourage a certain turnout re: Serenity's lover. :D :D :D

^____________^ Glad you liked it! I had practically illegal amounts of fun writing this chapter (and the other ones, for that matter). Hearing that it fits to the original practically makes me dance with glee, because this is the first serious (well, with a given value of 'serious'; I can't do pure serious to save my life) yaoi fic I've ever done AND one of the first based-on-another fics for me, other than a couple of little shortfics.
As for Serenity's lover... **whistles innocently** Not gonna tell, not gonna tell, not gonna tell! XP But let's just say that I really, really love red herrings for breakfast. And sometimes they're decoys, and sometimes they're just fish. **runs**

And oh yeah! I love the icon! Mmmmm, tea...
