It was really rather transformative and just such a great experience!

Hard to describe... I got off the plane aroun 11:30 am and Master Eduardo picked me up at the airport, we headed back to his place where I got this gorgeous lasagne lunch and we just... well pretty much chatted non stop. We are so alike in many ways (only he is far more classy ( Read more... )

JIMR and I have the seeds for a delicioualy evil plan... I suspect you will highly approve! We will plot and plan and then meet with the An Tirians at West/An Tir to collaborate on the larger project. I thought possibly you and Eduardo might be interested in moderating the research paper tract (which sounds kind of dry... but it actually really REALLY wasn't). I will talk to you more about it at Prova or Beltane. I am going to feel guilty telling you about the An Tir Symposium... it was so totally our kind of thing lol.

I am going to set up a planning FB event page, but we won't have a date for a little bit I would think?

Not sure how many years away you are looking, but Estrella moved which would free up President's Day weekend.

I had a marvelous time! Thanks for making it sooooo fun! I'm all inspired to do more work. Ref, Svava and I stopped on Cabelas on the way home and looked at all of the sausage making equipment. I fondled the big iron cauldron :) I think we spent hours talking about sausage in the car. I'm glad you're home all safe and sound.

the symposium I went to in Colorado (Dr Milham was a guest speaker. she's quite the gal ;)) they did that...having a class "produce" the meal. each dinner was a different cuisine, and I did one that was specificially "how to do a banquet", working folks through the spreadsheet system the Madrone Culinary Guild uses.

the only glitches were that some classes didnt get cleaned up in enough time for the next class, or stole ingredients, or such. but those are pretty minor hurdles that could be planned for.

have to admit I spent some time this morning looking at boy scout camps in California. the Arnaz Center looks promising ;) http://www.girlscoutsccc.org/resources/camp/rental but I bet it costs a jillion dollars!

hope I can make it when you guys put it on!
