I highly recommend Portal. It's not a long game, at least for the main storyline (though it does come with a bunch of extra puzzle levels, some of them really damn hard

Probably the best ending boss-fight and credits sequence I've seen in a game recently too. :) I had to go back and play it again to hear all of GLADoS' quotes!
