It is! haha neato.

Needed something that I could take to shows if needed, or at least travel with, even if it's not a show, just cause you never know when you gotta take a file with you to work on.... then I realized it was a bajillion times stronger than my desktop... so it's now my lil workhorse.

Haha!! Me too - it was just meant for me to be able to keep up with stuff whilst travelling, but it's my main computer now, and the desktop is rarely used any more! Vista can be a bit of arse, but Painter runs great - I don't know that my desktop would even have the power to start up Painter, let alone allow me to actually PAINT in Painter!

Yeah I've had my desktop reject painter on multiple occasions in the middle of pieces. Now mostly the girlfriend uses that comp since she's less graphic intensive than I am.

These are great investments, computer wise. Now if only I could get that urge to do more art again hehe......

Whoa, that's awesome penguinchan! :D Dual views! I know you talked about it, but to see it myself, that's amazing!

You've never run into that before? I'm surprised.

It's pretty handy, I can put all of my art program option windows (like brush stuff or layers) over on the secondary screen, or my references and inspiration. I use it a ton at work, far more than at home... but it's certainly a nice option.

(laugh) I write business programs for a living; we don't need dual views, plus I never go into the graphics section of the organization. I've seen it once or twice before for... I think someone gaming, for a brief while, but it's actually amazing to see an artist use it after he talked about it. :)

Wow... you're really resourceful! O_O It seems really good!
