For some reason no-one in Cardiff likes St Mark. Well that's not quite true, the Cathedral are managing an extra mass for him, but said at 6pm.
St Saviour's Splott's website doesn't even manage to tell me its Sunday service times let alone anything else (and wasn't on the first page of hits for St Saviour Splott on Google).
St Germans does manage Sunday services but their latest news is a concert on the 21st February. Knowing that somewhere does Solemn Evensong and Benediction is good though.
St Martin's Roath again has Sunday services (under liturgy) but says to see their
news page for festivals but it only contains links to Anglican news, the diocese and the BBC!
Cardiff Central haven't got beyond Holy Week and Easter yet and
St Mark's Gabalfa's idea of celebrating its patronal is to have its AGM!*
It looks like the cathedral for me then. 6pm is too early to stop work really and as it's only said, it makes more sense to go to the 9:30am Offeren as that gets me up and out to work at a sensible hour. But I've been to it on ordinary days, I like something more on feasts.
I was also amused this evening when I came in and saw a post headed `non-PSA meme' and was intrigued by a meme about not believing in Penal Substitutionary Atonement. Then I read the post and realised that I'd got the wrong expansion of the TLA!
**TBF I wasn't expecting them to have anything being evangelical, but I knew I'd noticed they were doing something vaguely appropriate when I went there a few weeks ago.
