Pro tatziki interesno. A gde berut silken tofu? Est' li drugoj recept tatziki?

I ne mogu naiti Tahini (u kitajtsa) :)

Silken tofu is available at HT Market or at almost any grocery store now, often in the dairy section of health food stores or produce section of conventional grocers. Lenny's doesn't have it, but they do have Tahini, just ask them.

Est' drugoi recept tzatziki - kupit' v Trader Joe's. :)

But really, it's supposed to be made with "yogurt," but right kind of plain yogurt is hard to have in the US. It's probably a mix of sour cream and yogurt, plus cucumber, garlic and dill. The tofu version works pretty well, though.

I'm so making the hot cocoa when I get back home next week!!!
As for tofu, my roommate Nastya (I think you met her last year at Marisha's b-day) is studying to become a naturopath, and according to her, the latest study on tofu shows that it significantly increases estrogen levels.

Yes, soy is an estrogen receptor, and it is a little questionable. I try not to have soy products all that often, but this dressing is so worth it. :)
