Hello, fic comm followers!
I'm not going to do any of the fandom auction things because I still (dear god, still) have Haiti fic to write. (I haven't forgotten, I swear! It's just hard to get in the mood to write specific prompts for people sometimes, you know? But they're rolling around in my head somewhere, some of them more fully formed than others.) But I'm nabbing a nice idea from a friend:
For every dollar raised by help_japan collectively, I will write one word of fic. And for every $1 donated by my flisters, I will write an additional 100 words.
(Extending this to the JE fandom fundraiser at arashi_on.) If this is an incentive, cool. If not, that's fine, too. Either way, I hope that if you have the desire and the means, you're giving some love to Japan and the other nations around the world that have been affected by this tragedy. And in case you do donate and you feel like making it count toward a total word count, let me know.
