My dad got some good news regarding his mini-strokes. The doctors couldn't find anything wrong on the MRI, so that narrowed the causes of his strokes down to either a hole in his heart sending out little clots or having sticky blood that clots easily. On December 31st, my dad went to the cardiologist to have his heart scoped. They took an MRI of

we found out my dad (due to heart disease and bypass surgeries) has a heart running at 25% a couple months ago. tons of problems stem from/are still stemming from the weakness. i'm glad they figured it out for your dad and hopefully it works correctly. not much can be done when the heart gets to be in such bad shape.

I'm sorry to hear that about your dad. Can anything be done to help regain normal heart function?

nah. not where it's at. i forgot to mention he also developed diabetes later in life so all of it has been just too much. he struggled a long time not knowing the root of all the problems so they tried one thing after another. now that he knows...even though the outcome was not what we wanted to hear...it's still a level of relief. so look at it as a good thing that they have spearheaded your dad's situation and hope they can do good with it.

I was really surprised, in a good way, that you commented here. Emily and I were just talking about you the other day, and we both were wondering what you were up to and how you were doing. I'm glad to hear that you are still with Lindsay, and I wish you two all the best.

I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble your family has been going through. Let your mom and dad and Charles know I am thinking about your family.

And about Erich - yeah he got crazy tall one day. He's 6ft tall now and is super buff because of wrestling. And he has his driver's license, a car, and a job. It's weird to go home now because he's all grown up and responsible.
