WORDS. Okay, I love the tone of the whole piece. I really wish this all had been canon because it was fucking awesome. I love the repetition of the line about how it's sometimes harder to be soft than it is to be brave that just jrkle;a killed me.
I think what bowled me over is the badass, nitty, gritty feel of the whole piece which you always manage to do whenever you write for this show imo, but it seemed to be there even more this time. It was absolutely fantastic ( ... )

I AM A BIG FAN OF REPETITION, WHICH IS... OBVIOUS. As I tend to do that in a lot of my fics. XD
I have my personal favorites when it comes to Supernatural seasons but I was rewatching some of episodes in season three and when you gave me the 'death' suggestion it just all clicked together. I could use Dean's contract as a starting point and see how Jo would fit there.

That is Dean, so completely and exactly that it makes my heart ache. I love the way you write him from Jo's perspective, how broken and wrecked he is while still being Dean. I love all the rough edges Jo has in this - that she's different from what we write at BTR, but you can easily see how she got to this point. AND I LOVE THAT YOU USED THAT PART ABOUT JO AND THE LITTLE GIRL FROM OUR MARSHMALLOW MAN THREAD. I think everyone has a little (or a lot) of personal canon in their head, things that didn't necessarily happen on the show but that they attribute to their characters. ♥ you put so fucking much into that girl and I ( ... )
