A huge thank you to absolutelybatty who introduced me to Rome! I had initially planned to watch just the Pilot last night, but totally ended up watching three straight episodes. *__* Rome is awesome and dangerously addictive. I think I find it even more addictive than, dare I say it, Game of Thrones. And that's saying a lot, 'cause I love my Game of Thrones.

Is that it? I was just beginning to enjoy myself. )

YES, I APPROVE OF THAT GIF TREMENDOUSLY. :D

Watched the fourth and fifth episode this morning. SAM, I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS. I can't believe Titus knows about Niobe's affair! And worse, he knows about Niobe and Evander's baby! I'm worried about how Lucius will react to the news, 'cause I just know that Titus will tell him. Bloodthirsty Octavian scares the living daylights out of me. And Atia has done it now -- I was under the impression that Servilia had a gentle heart and wouldn't hurt even a fly, so you can imagine my disbelief when she cursed both Atia and Caesar. That scene was extremely chilling. Go Servilia ( ... )

IT IS A GOOD GIF! \o/

I KNOOOOOOW. Ugh, the fact that Niobe was unfaithful (even if the circumstances are totally understandable; she thought he was dead!) just ripped my heart out. YOU HAD SO MUCH PROMISE, SHIP; WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE HAPPY?! Servilla's cursing scene is probably the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life. She aced that scene like a boss; I cannot even. That's, imo, her most bad ass scene though. Atia is always the HBIC of the two of them, I think.

Game of Thrones always ends so quickly! I always feel like I've barely begun to watch anything. Although, honestly, I'd really just love to have an hour of whatever Arya is doing right now. That assassin guy she's hooked up with is freaking awesome. But you're right. GoT is a little slow compared to Rome. I think GoT puts too much emphasis on complex plot lines, and they take so long to sort out whereas Rome just barrels through. it probably has something to do with the source material.

I think, maybe, had we seen more of If Then Owen, we'd see the similarities ( ... )

Watched the ninth episode this morning! You're right, things are happening so fast and I'm feeling so excited about what's to come, and UGH, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT! After what I've seen, I doubt anything will surprise me anymore.

My love for Lucius/Niobe just keeps growing with every episode -- damn it, they better get their happy ending or I will be one pissed customer.

I couldn't contain myself when Cleopatra ordered Lucius to have sex with her -- his reaction was hilarious! XD

Lucius and Titus stranded on an island was fun to watch and made for some awesome dialogue! Say, I wouldn't mind being stranded with just the two of them on a deserted island.

Can't say I was surprised by Octavian/Octavia, but I totally didn't expect Servilia/Octavia! :D I've never quite liked Octavia, but Servilia is just getting more badass (and creepy!) with each passing episode. Love really can change you. Servilia getting attacked in the streets was horrifying though ( ... )
