The other day, Shane and I were talking to a friend about how we're different and/or the same. He described himself as being "like a fly, flying into the window over and over again," while I'm the one just sitting there, shaking my head, saying, "HEY! There's a window there."

Between the two of you there's a fully functional human, which seems to be the basis for the best relationship. ;-)

Indeed. I have a history of being attracted to types like that.

For the record, I should point out that I don't necessarily agree with his self-description. He's certainly much more "flighty" than I am, but most of the time, he makes it work brilliantly. I just thought it was really cute that he said that. ^________^
