Sunshine/The Seattle Freeze

I just saw "Sunshine Cleaning" at the Harvard Exit theater. I'm so glad I saw it alone because it really, deeply touched me, and I doubt I would have been able to let myself cry as hard as I did if I had seen it with someone else. harvard exit= great theatre. is the piano still in the lobby? i always feel like there are ghosts there- but friendly ones...did you sense that?

i used to live in capitol hill. great neighborhood. my favorite one in seattle...glad you are having a good stay here

I used to play the piano at the Harvard Exit all the time when I lived in Seattle and didn't have my own piano to play. It's nice and peaceful. And I can definitely feel the presence of some old "stuff" in that building...can't put a finger on it, but it's there.

Ah, the "freeze". It's such a culture shock being in Louisiana, where most people not only smile back but will strike up a conversation with you as well. Still, freeze or no freeze, I always admired people like you who were able to find their own rhythm with Seattle. I'm happy it's a place you can return to and enjoy.
