I just finished "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," which I really enjoyed.  I remember my dad recommending it, and I read the book several years ago.  I enjoyed the movie, even if it has one of those sad happy endings.  Yesterday I finished "Ink," which was very strange and very great.  I think you'd enjoy it
