Sarah Jane had a little notebook tucked under her bed with a list of items upon it. It was divided by month and currently it had three important objects to get a tick on. Sailing, for one. Casey expected it to be Bartowski pounding on his door as though there was trouble of some sort after him.

It was almost a disappointment when it turned out to be Sarah Jane. Almost. He could see what was in the basket, and it wasn't as though delivery was common in this place he lived now.

"Yeah?" he said. "Your grandma's not here, Red Riding Hood."

"It'd be rather hard for her to be here, dead and all," Sarah Jane agreed, her voice barely inflecting anything. She pushed the basket forward. "These are yours. They're payment in exchange for the lessons in hand to hand combat you're about to give me," she informed him.

"I don't know," said Casey. "Seems like 'dead' isn't as much a deterrent to people showing up around here."

He took the basket, mostly because it was being forced on him, and peered inside so intently he almost missed her words.

"I'm not a teacher. I'm a -" "Secret agent" would probably end up leading to trouble for the Intersect, which Casey didn't much want to deal with, so he'd keep his cover. "Appliance salesman."

"You're a large man who's obviously capable of defending himself, you don't need to be an expert," she assured him, idly waving a hand. "I'd ask another friend, but Ianto would likely just throw tea on you and others prefer guns. So. Shall I stay or go find someone else capable of the task?"
