Some lovely imagery in this (particularly of Erik sitting by himself in the dark; that one's been one of many prompting plot bunnies for myself) - the balance between Erik's thoughts of a traumatic past and the warm security he has with Charles is good. The hand over Erik's wrist at the end made me melt too, lovely gesture .. you know there'd be a trust between them for Erik to let Charles do that. :)
