Okay, since I do no follow YuGiOh AT ALL, I would be "amused" to find out HOW THE HELL 4KIDS CENSORED THAT. HOLY CRAP WHEN DID THIS CARD GAME ANIME HAVE FLAYING IN IT.

The anime didn't show the flaying-- they stopped at stabbing-- and 4kids erased his entire backstory.

In doing so, they also destroyed his primary motivation (revenge)! And replaced it with wanting Yuugi's puzzle.

Ah yes, the old assumption that their target audience doesn't know what a plot hole is.

Y-Yeah-- mainly, in the dub it made him a much less forgivable character, which ... probably left audiences going !?!?! about why the Main Characters saved him in the end.

But hey, it's 4kids. WHY DO THEY CARE ABOUT PLOT.
