2) Being along for the beta, I got first crack at reading Shadowcast's new Umbrella Academy fic, No Future Is Perfect, But This One's Pretty Good. I was lucky enough to finish watching the series and then sail right into these first chapters. The story's complete and the rest will be going up soon. Definitely hits the spot for

Thanks for the Jenkins link. I used to be subscribed for alerts on his site, but somehow that disappeared and I lost track.

Glad to pass it along! It's probably the fault of his site. When I moved to Dreamwidth I subscribed to his feed there (might even have started it) and had to ask the site staff to reconnect it at least twice. I'd get updates and then nothing and it would take me a while to realize it wasn't updating (since the posts go out irregularly). For some reason the feed link would stop working.

It's been pretty good these past two years though so maybe they changed platforms or something.
