So I take back any skepticism about my roommate for this fall. She's awesome. We had the whole weird conversation/realization that someone else from RL is into a fandom/reads fic too. (She's in the Twilight fandom though. She accepts the fact that it's pretty super embarrassing and isn't a Twihard or all *RAEG* IT'S AMAZING S.MEYER IS A GODDESS. So

My mom ships it..I didn't even say or do anything. She just..does. Just a little creeped out by that but, since I do too, it's all good. xD

LOLOLOLOLOLOL. I think my sister sort ships it. When she actually watches it, which isn't always. But I love it when people's family members are all "WINCEST!! WOO! A+!" It's awkward, but also hysterical.

My gay friend ships it. xD He just wants them to drop it all and make out like there's no tomorrow. He calls the show "two gorgeous brothers who are secretly in love with each other." And he's got it right.

I still haven't figured out what my reaction would be if they DID drop it all and make out like there's no tomorrow. Shock, definitely, a little bit of ecstasy because DUDE, embarrassment because then it would be THE SHOW with ~INCEST~ and everyone would know about it because of that, and then I could never admit to liking it anymore without people LOOKING at me. >.> LOLOLOL (He totally has it right. :D)

LOL that's funny that he knows. My dad has seen the first couple episodes, but I don't want him to watch more because ~WHAT IF HE FINDS OUT??~ hahaha idk.

I'll never be my true SPN self around her until she acknowledges and accepts WINCEST into her life. She doesn't have to particularly like it (and :gasp: she can even ship Dean/Cas), she just has to be okay with me LOVING it. :D (And freaking out about all the subtext lol.)

I'm so glad that your roommate is so cool! It's definitely going to take off some of the stress about college. Not living with a whackjob is definitely a plus and if you can get her into the SPN fandom that's a total win. It makes me really hope I meet RL friends who like it, too! I need to start slipping it into conversation more often.

This definitely will help! And she's a total math and physics whiz, which is like…A GODSEND. And she's shaky with English/spelling/grammar, so at least I'm not like mooching all her brains and not giving anything in return. \0/ (And then SPN parties ALL NIGHT LONG.) She's seen a couple episodes and was staring at Dean the entire time likes it, so I think I can get her ~INTO~ it.
